International Federation of Accountants (IFAC)
PIPFA has achieved another milestone by becoming a Full Member Body of International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) as of November 11, 2020. This has not only strengthened its recognition in global accounting fraternity rather has expanded the scope of PIPFA’s professional activities nationally and internationally.
By becoming the member of IFAC, PIPFA has been elevated to a higher level of Professional Accountancy Organization (PAO) which will entail higher compliance to IFAC Standards and IFAC mission. This will enable PIPFA in further capacity building for even better services to the National Public Sector Entities and the Corporate Sector.
Being a full-fledged member of IFAC, PIPFA will have more active participation at the international stage for activities like;
- Supporting IFAC’s mission and program.
- Becoming part of the global voice of the accounting profession.
- Obtaining access to information, resources, and support to help strengthen the profession locally, regionally, and nationally.
- Providing input on critical global issues and contribute to the global agenda.
