Courses of Study

 

The Education program is divided into three Levels with following subjects of study for Corporate & Public Sector:

Foundation Stage

 

  1. Basic Accounting.
  2. Basic Cost Accounting.
  3. Business Mathematics & Statistics.
 
Intermediate Stage

 

  1. Financial Accounting.
  2. Performance Measurement.
  3. Business Communication & Behavriol Studies..
  4. Business Laws & Taxation.
 
Final Stage

 

  1. Financial Reporting.
  2. Management Accounting.
  3. Audting.
 

Students having qualified Intermediate, A' Levels, DBA, CAT or any other qualification equivalent to

Intermediate can take admission in PIPFA. In case of public sector trainees they must be nominated by the competent authorities of the Government of Pakistan. Students have to study three levels (Foundation, Intermediate and Final) to pass examinations. After passing all the examinations one must have minimum two years working experience to get the membership of the Institute. Thus the total period required to be a full fledged accounts professional after Intermediate is three and half years as compared to B.Com qualified individuals who study for two years after intermediate and are not considered as accountants.

Each stage of the program requires minimum period of about six months. Examinations are held twice a year, normally in May and November.

After Qualifying the Certification of PIPFA studnets will be able to get 4 years BBA (Hons) Degree from University of Central PUNJAB only Sumitting the Thesis.
